Annex Double-Zip Box Pouch

My eldest daughter asked this project long time ago and you know me I always have this bad habit to -- procrastinate but I am able to make it on time. This is Annex Double - Zip Box Pouch, pattern is from www.sewsweetness.com. I made this night till dawn and so I have to recuperate some zzZZZ after. This is my daughters' gift for what they call "cacahuète" or simply exchange gifts at her school. And of course I prefer not to wrap so you can see on the photos how it will be given.

Men's Shirt "Max"

Next project in line are these shirts of www.pattydoo.de, it's Men's Shirt "Max". In these shirts I have to mix & match and should pay attention to not have an identical finished shirt that I have made before, although yes indeed it has the same fabrics as before because I have bought meters and meters of that same fabrics.

Elegant Machine Embroidered Bags - Custom Tote

Holiday season is fast approaching and I am a bit late for our "gifts" so have to rush rush things. This is the first time I made a custom tote on a www.craftsy.com class - an Elegant Machine Embroidered Bags of Amanda Murphy. I choose different matching embroidery threads to be paired with the bottom fabrics that I have chosen. The white fabric is from my stash and that 's from Ikea fabrics then bottom fabrics are from stash as well of Stoffenspektakel. Thread floss are from www.berninabritte.be and I make it a point to have reserves in times of need. As for the straps it has been bought from Veritas store. 

Reversible Shopper Bag "Wendy"

This has been requested long, long time ago and finally I was able to finish it. A Reversible Shopper Bag "Wendy", pattern is from www.pattydoo.de. These fabrics have been bought at Stoffenspektakle/Marché du Tissu last September. I did not add interfacing but the white Ikea fabric  that I added serves as an interlining of the bag. An embroidered name has been added as well.

Embroidered Gift Photo

A cousin of mine have been working in Germany for quite sometime now and she will be there for more than two years still and so I will be seeing her again for the third time if I am not mistaken and so I planned this beautiful embroidered gift photo of her and her daughter. I always ask the same digitiser on www.etsy.com she is from Russia. Anyway, this embroidered photo took sometime to embroider although I was able to finish it in a day which is great because my machine can maximise stitches up to 800 spm but in this case I only used 500 spm so that is quite ok. I was able to find a new photo frame in our apartment which is still wrapped as if it was just been bought recently so that is a good thing. In these photos you will see the threads that I used and the sequence of embroidery that I made.

Whenever there is a Stoffenspektakel / Marché du Tissu at Halles des Foires, Liège, I always take advantage of going there and not to miss it. We pass by some stalls but not all, and bought from three fabric stalls.

A classmate of my youngest daughter invited her for her birthday and so I came up with a pencil case with two zippers on it in a small size of www.sewsweetness.com, as a gift. It is an Annex Double-Zip Box Pouch which is pattern and video as well. Fabrics are from my stash, zippers are bought at veritas. I added embroidered name on it to have it personalised.

Cumberland Backpack

My eldest daughter is in her secondary grade 1, so she needs a school bag and she requested a backpack. And so www.sewsweetness.com have this pattern plus video offered on sale the time I bought it together with three more pattern and video as well. That backpack is a cumberland backpack. I used the fabric I bought at stoffenspektakle which is an upholstery fabric in a cubic form of shape. I combine it with a cork fabric on the pocket which I bought at Les Tissus du Chien Vert Liege. As for the lining I bought that long time ago at www.cotonurbain.be. Zippers, twist lock, nylon strapping and bias tape are bought at veritas. I do not have mesh so I just use fabric instead.

Cuddly Seatbelt Pillow

Getting ready for summer vacation in France and since it is a long trip I made the girls a cuddly seatbelt pillow.  I made these already its just that the first time was with a pillow inserts and of two different sizes but these seatbelt pillows are without pillow inserts and the fabric is a bit fluffy and  I combined it with jeans fabric for the pockets and embroidered name on it.

It has been ten years since we got married in a catholic church in the Philippines. Although we got first married civilly here in Belgium a year before. I still remember all the preparations and delegation of a lot of stuff with my sister and BFF because I only stayed there for quite awhile. And now ten years has passed. So I thought of embroidering a gift for hubby but it seems like he discovered it while I was preparing for it because he and I shared our google photos and there was a notification on his side whenever I take photos, so there no longer a surprise. Anyway, what matters he likes the gift.

An embroidered photo gifts for my eldest daughters friends since they are all "graduating" primary. I ask an embroidery digitizer from www.etsy.com to have it digitized. My hoop size here is 6" x 10" and used a black Isacord embroidery thread. My machine have different number of speeds for stitching and in this case I used them all to speed up but at the beginning I do always use the slowest which is 350spm (175minutes) until I increased it as time goes by due to deadline purposes. The fabric that I used here is from Ikea - Minna, from my stash.

I made a dress for my youngest daughter for her sisters' primary "graduation". I combined it with plain yellow fabric and grey fruity jersey. Next is my eldest daughters dress and of course it is for her "graduation". A plain white jersey paired it with a decorative heart jersey fabrics. Both dresses are pattern of www.pattydoo.de. These are the existing jersey fabrics that I have because I used these also to their other clothing. Both are from my stash and bought at stoffenspektakel.

Sommershorts/Summershorts "Flora"

Summer just started recently, well the end of spring it was already hot so I consider it to be summer. I made this shorts Flora, pattern is from www.pattydoo.de. Since my eldest daughter has been asking for shorts so there she have one now in addition to what she was wearing already before. It is kind of exciting that I was able to sew clothing for my children or even hubby. The jeans was bought at Royal Tissus.
